Hi! We’re Karla and Katie, co-founders of Petal & Earth. We met many years ago in our corporate roles working on sustainability, became lifelong friends, and eventually jumped into the flower business together.
What started as a pandemic hobby sourcing local dahlia tubers and planting them in every extra plot of dirt we could our hands on (including city medians!) has now grown into a labor of love creating beautiful florals for our community across the DMV.
Staying true to our core values, everything we produce for Petal & Earth is created with a lot of thought and intention. We source from our own gardens and local farms when the seasons allow, we reuse our vessels and floral tools, and we are mindful about limiting plastic waste and packaging. We can't wait to design beautiful flowers for you!
